Prerequisite: None (Entry Level)
Course Length: Between 12 and 24 hours, dependent upon learner. 16 hours is appropriate for a blended learning environment.

Measurable outcomes:
Upon successful course completion, the student is able to begin a work-and-learn, hands-on training program. He will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic slant rig operations, the different components on the rig, the nature of work for every one of his crew members and, most important, how to undertake his functions of work with awareness, responsibility and a focused attention on safety for himself and fellow Members.
Upon successful completion of each of the three positions the trainee will earn a certificate.
